Here we have a wonderful Vintage Wupamo - Longbill Kachina. It is pre-owned and in very good condition without any damage or repairs. Carved from cottonwood root, it measures approximately 7" tall, that is top of head not feathers and it is signed by the carver Dan Kootsvayouma on bottom of the stand. Dan carves with great delicacy, grace and precision. This version of the Hopi Wupamo Kachina is a delightful example. It is accurately portrayed, and beautifully carved and finished.
