Pair of Northern Plains Grass Dancer Dolls acquired from family members of author Thomas E. Mails  who passed away in 2001
(Mails was author of Mystic Warriors of the Plains", "Cherokee People", "Dog Soldier Societies of the Plains"
and other important reference books on Native American tribal cultures. This doll set also came in a collection of other Mail's items including some of his original pen and ink drawings)
Early-Mid 20 century dolls, very well made in native tanned hide, beads
